Indigenous Relationships

An Atmosphere of Respect and Cooperation

From the very start, we have prioritized a culture of mutual respect between ourselves and everyone we work with. This is especially true for the numerous Indigenous peoples around western Canada, who hold not only proud traditions, but specific rights with regards to their lands.

We recognize the importance of building strong relationships with Indigenous groups within our area, creating joint economic development that will boost prosperity and create stronger communities.

We are a member of the Canadian Council for Aboriginal Business (CCAB), an organization with a mission to promote, strengthen, and enhance a prosperous Indigenous economy. In accordance with their vision, our approach to Indigenous partnerships is ever-evolving to account for new standards, goals, and best practices.

We are a proud member of the Peace River region, providing career opportunities for over 200 employees, and we are strongly committed to helping the local communities in which we live and work – striving to improve safety, environment, education, social welfare, and overall economic development.
